Infrastructure architecture review
An assessment of your servers, network, cloud and backup design against your availability and growth requirements, with single points of failure and capacity limits identified.
A senior, vendor-neutral view of your infrastructure: what is working, what is at risk, and a prioritised plan to fix it. Advice grounded in almost twenty years of running networks and systems in banking, iGaming and government.
Most infrastructure problems are not caused by a single bad decision. They build up over years: a firewall rule added in a hurry, a server nobody patches because nobody is sure what it does, a network that grew one switch at a time. By the time something breaks or an auditor asks questions, it is hard to know where to start.
A consultancy engagement gives you an outside, experienced view. I look at how your systems are actually built and run, compare that with good practice and your regulatory obligations, and tell you plainly what matters most. You get a written report and a roadmap ranked by risk and effort, so you can decide what to fix in-house, what to outsource and what can safely wait.
Because Proton IT Services does not resell hardware or licences, recommendations are based only on what fits your business, budget and team.
An assessment of your servers, network, cloud and backup design against your availability and growth requirements, with single points of failure and capacity limits identified.
A structured review of access control, patching, network segmentation, logging, monitoring and hardening, mapped to recognised baselines such as CIS Benchmarks.
Preparation for audits in regulated sectors such as financial services and iGaming, including PCI DSS scoping, evidence gathering and closing technical gaps before the auditor arrives.
A prioritised, costed plan for the next one to three years, so infrastructure spending follows business priorities rather than the last emergency.
Help writing requirements, comparing proposals and running proof-of-concept tests for firewalls, monitoring, virtualisation, cloud and identity platforms.
An independent check on a design, a supplier’s proposal or a migration plan before you commit, or a review of a project that is not going to plan.
We discuss your goals, concerns and constraints, and agree what the review should cover.
Interviews with your team, a review of existing documentation and hands-on inspection of configurations and systems.
Findings are ranked by risk and business impact, with practical options and rough costs for each.
A written report and roadmap, presented to your technical team and management in plain language.
It depends on the size of your environment. A focused review of a small business is often completed within one to two weeks, while larger or regulated environments take longer. The scope and timeline are agreed in writing before any work starts.

Yes. Many clients ask Proton IT Services to carry out some or all of the remediation work. You are never obliged to, and the report is written so that your own team or another provider can act on it.

Tell me what you are working on. The initial consultation and quote are free, and if I am not the right fit I will say so and point you to someone who is.
